Developed a contract between the national oil company of Algeria and a leading law firm in Washington, D.C. to evaluate potential investments in proposed LNG ports in the United States.

Developed a contract between a leading lobbying firm and a technology company for influencing public policy and selling software related to national security to the federal government.

Facilitated a contract that provided dial-up access for AOL in the United Kingdom and Germany.

Developed a partnership between Sun Microsystems and a start-up software company for selling E-business Java solutions throughout the Middle East.

Identified a joint venture partner and developed market strategy in the Middle East for Sunglass Hut International.

Originated and negotiated agency representation for a client in Saudi Arabia to distribute and sell Timex watches.

Developed a licensing opportunity for a company in Saudi Arabia with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

Developed new corporate and institutional clients for the largest government and public relations firm in Washington, D.C.

Conceived and managed the development of a multi-million dollar congressional appropriation to an Ivy League college.

Arranged pro bono lobbying for The Sports Museum of New England, resulting in federal funding for an after school program for at risk youth in Cambridge and Boston.

Introduced Teach For America to the concept of line item appropriations and developed initial strategy for seeking congressional funding. In recent years, through TFA's own efforts, this strategy has resulted in millions of dollars in federal support.

Developed community, business and political action programs with the Vice Lords, a large street gang on the West Side of Chicago which in the late Sixties lowered the crime rate in Chicago’s most violent neighborhoods.

Founded the National Center for Gang Policy to develop policies, strategies and programs to prevent gang violence, to offer constructive opportunity to gang members and to promote safe lives and safe streets for families and communities.

Co-produced “Stop The Violence,” a 30 second public service spot aired by ABC, MTV and others.

Advised the Administration for Children, Youth and Families (ACYF) of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services on gang prevention policies and strategies.

Participated as a team member in the design and implementation of RJR Nabisco’s Next Century Schools, a $30 million competitive grants program to stimulate radical change in K-12 education.

Assisted NIKE in developing a strategy for inner city philanthropy and arranged a partnership with the National Foundation for the Improvement of Education which administered a $1 million Just Do It Dropout Prevention grants program for teachers.

Developed cause-related marketing relationships for Special Olympics International with American Express, In Style Magazine, Safelite, Sports Illustrated and Citibank.

Developed a contract for a developer of cause-related marketing to represent Habitat For Humanity.

Owned and managed a closely held manufacturing company in the food industry; improved operating performance and negotiated the sale to Pillsbury.  

Conceived and marketed a fitness product that was distributed nationally through retailers such as WalMart and L.L. Bean.
